About
Who was Micah?
1. The Book of Micah is the sixth of the twelve minor prophets in the Hebrew Bible. Micah reproaches unjust leaders, defends the rights of the poor against the rich and powerful; while looking forward to a world at peace centered on Zion under the leadership of a new Davidic monarch.
2. “Micah” means "who is like Yahweh?”
What is the Micah Forum Baltimore?
Prophet Micah lived during the momentous time of the fall of Israel into the hands of the Assyrian Empire in 722 BC. Micah called out the people to that which was benevolent and required of God’s people to do justice and love kindness and walk humbly with God.
The Micah Forum Baltimore is initiated with a sincere desire to heed to the call of Micah by like-minded churches and ministries that endeavors to facilitate virtual gatherings of people who can apply the Gospel of Jesus Christ and biblical truths to pressing issues of the day by listening, dialoguing, and taking practical steps for the transformation of our lives - community, culture, society, and the world.
Our Vision
To apply the Gospel to important topics of our day for life and world transformation.
Mission
